Glitter is hell to get out of a horse if there is any hair or dampness in the air. They glitter for days.

Only little girls carry glitter as an essential item in their backpacks. I won’t comment about the Crisco…

I went to the barn one day last year to see that the girls there had painted my horse’s hooves with pink sparkles. A true twinkle toes. He looked very silly.

LOL, how old is she?

I’m interested to know who told you that – as I raised horses for 15 years. And they do not lick themselves the way you describe. Perhaps, if the goo was itchy (which I doubt), they would try to rub it off on a wall or post (or by rolling in the grass or sand). I believe someone was telling you a tall tale.

A) That’s true about the 1939 “Oz”.

B) I’ve seen glitter remain for years, outdoors in a forest.

Anyone else seeing the similarities between this strip and Calvin and Hobbes? I mean, the small child and the awesome, most likely imaginary best friend? The crisco????Must be just me.

The gelatin was probably sweet to them so they were probably licking themselves like a sugar cube. My horse would do that when I dripped ice cream or soda on him.
