Have you ever paid a visit to the Vatican? Such treasures! Gold, statues, paintings, and the folly of luxury all hoarded into a huge castle, and surrounding opulence while outside on the piazza square priests and cardinals pass the homeless and others in need without a glance. Who on this earth deserves such disregard?
Taxes are a way of leveling the playing field while doing some social good, like infrastructure, health care, etc. Do we need more billionaires or Medicare for all? After all think of the savings to small businesses if they didn’t have to pay for employee’s health insurance or fix that truck axle that broke because of that pot hole. They might even be more competitive with countries that do cover everyone and do fix problems. Instead we get a bunch of pampered rich who buy our government and sell us out to the Chinese (American Chamber of Commerce, anyone?)

Yes to causing a downgrade to the nations credit rating, Yes to giving taxpayer money to billion dollor oil companies. Yes to increased defence spending, dispite the fact that we ended one war, and whinding down the other.

Budget proposals were submittedbut shot down by the need for a supermmajority in the Senate.
