This really is a strip that hopes to portray women are stupid enough to fall for a made up media war on women by Republicans.

The current legislative push is to keep coverage for Viagra, while simultaneously cutting coverage for birth control. If birth control for women shouldn’t be covered then why should Viagra? The reason is the double standard that pushes the full responsibility for birth control and pregnancy onto women.

As usual, the GOP trolls are falling all over themselves to convince women that there is no war on their rights. One only has to look at the polls to see what a majority of women voters think about that assertion.

Seriously, there is no war on women, women are fighting the war on terror. The GOP is not trying to convince us women of any such thing, the media and womens orginazations want women to believe this garbage. That became amazingly clear when Naomi Wolfe started yelling for everyone to boycott Katey Perry for her video empowering women and honoring women in the military. Personally I find the image of the GOP male insulting, my husband, sons, step son, father, grandfathers looked nothing like this doufus, although the cartoon does share a striking resemblance to Alec Baldwin, the liberal who called his daughter a little pig….

I believe so, and if Obama keeps campaigning like he is and holding book clubs for women at the White House, more will likely figure out it is Obama who is desparate to run on something other than his record.

It’s interesting that the majority of comments on whether or not there is a GOP War on Women are from men. Typical.

Oh, and to Rightisright, I don’t know what planet you live on, but the discrepancy between pay for men and women is well-documented, with women earning substantially less than men. Also, while birth-control on your planet may be cheap and plentiful, it isn’t always the case in this country and depends entirely on where you live. In some places women still have to fight to get insurance to cover birth control on plans they have already paid into, even though you men can get your Viagra covered. Not very fair, is it? The recent GOP debate on women’s reproductive rights was straight out of 1956 and not a shining moment for the country.
