   The NRA has bought off every politician to make sure not a single measure is passed to help curb gun violence. Hell, they even blocked research into gun violence so we have very few statistics on what’s causing it. So yeah, the NRA has blood on their hands. Sadly, I fear the gun violence epidemic won’t be solved until the senile old men of the NRA, the ones who love their guns more than their children and grandchildren, finally pass away.

   I’m stumped as to why people want to remove access to birth control, resulting in unwanted pregnancies, and then restrict access to pre-natal care, so those babies will be at a much greater risk for health problems.

   Actually most news outlets do their best to report facts, and make corrections when they get it wrong. It just seems like they’re attacking Trump because he can’t seem to keep himself from saying things that are obviously easily proved false.

   Republicans have concocted this strange logic that when Hillary was in office she somehow arranged to have uranium mining rights sold to the Russians, and since Mueller was in office at that time and didn’t investigate her, he must be complicit in her crimes and should therefor recuse himself from investigating Trump.     That doesn’t make sense, as the other LGBT friendly towns in NC like Carrboro, Chapel Hill, etc, as well as a hundred cities in the US already have ordinances protecting their rights.

    The NC GA is solely responsible for passing HB2 at the behest of business interests primarily to outlaw descrimination lawsuits and at the behest of religious groups to make sure municipalities couldn’t protect gay rights.

    For the GA to blame Charlotte is like the abusive husband who blames the wife for making him hit her.
