Even my sneering, leftist cousins would correct this farm boy on the proper spelling of ‘dysfunctional’ but I was brung up better than that. But they still sneer, snigger and jape about how superior ‘Leftism’ is the better, for it’s ‘raised me’ from my poor beginnings.. Yeah, right. So did this body and braindo pretty much of the heavy lifting, all they did was ‘discuss’….

Will somebody please explain to me exactly what is meant by the term ’’leftist" in regards to politics. I have seen politicians and political parties described as both left and right usually at the same time.
