Reminds me of my cats. When they ’knock a bunch of stuff of my desk. They havet that same little halo as the one dipicted in this strip, and give their Steve Urkle imation…“Did I do that”?

I periodically clip my cat’s nails so they won’t need to scratch.

Cats scratch in order to sharpen their claws, the only thing clipping their nails does is make it so the damage is lessened until they are sharp again. They also scratch to help clean their nails.

Pets know who likes them and who doesn’t.Both our kids have moved away from home. Our dog knows our son is his master and loves him. Our daughter is not a dog person and does not like the dog. Last time she spent the night, the dog peed right outside her bedroom door (and he never has accidents in the house). This dog has lived with us 14 years.

Why is the cat loose in the repair area? There are toxic substances in there that the cat might ingest. There are also things that could be dangerous if clawed or chewed (hoses, electrical stuff). The cat should be in the office area with Clovia.

Here in Texas, we have a story of a black dog that was the devil disguised that tried to seduce a woman.

But if the cat was in the office with Clovia, when would it have the opportunity to kill Slim?

I haven’t read this comic in years. Is Walt still kicking? He must be about 110 by now. I used to read this strip mainly for Rufus, Joel & Becky and the rickety bridge. Yesterday’s Non Sequiter reminded me of that.

Once m wife and I had two chairs with leather cushions. Then my sister in law (or rather her leather couch) got allergic to cats and we were given her to halfgrown kittens. After a few weeks our leather cushions were turning into suede. But we kept – and loved – the cats.
