I agree, not ALL neighborhood watch groups should be branded. The Florida and Texas “shoot first” laws SHOULD be challenged, for enabling folks like Zimmerman, who hunted down this target.
The ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws are a DEFENSE, not a ‘Get Out of Jail Free’ card. If, after a PROPER investigation, the DA believes that you had a reason to feel threatened, then you might not get charged. Or if HE doesn’t believe it, the Jury might.The Sanford,FL case was NOT investigated properly.
