I’ll never forget: About 40 years ago, a friend who had just come to the US from Afghanistan, invited me over for dinner. I was his 1st guest in the US. In the middle of dinner he was about to por the contents of a can of cat food onto my plate, asking me if I wanted some fish.
I stopped him, saying, “Osman, that’s cat food!” He looked startled, saying, “And it was so expensive.”
I asked him if he had already eaten some and he said, “Uh, no.”
I realize that pet food is not poison for humans, but still…
I’m begining to detest "cute’ cat humor especially all those facebook posts and emails I see of cutesy kittens. Some folks seem not to get enough but for me it drives me up a wall! I’ll be back when Jim stops drawing all this cat drivel!
@dook – Cats are only “songbird-killing machines” if you let them outdoors. The only time my cat feels fresh air is from screened open windows and going to the vet. @436rge – Ironically, I love cats but hate the “cutesy” crap as well. A cat is a cat and that’s that. (Not sure if that’s a Dr. Seuss quote or not!) Just hit the “hide story” or “delete” spot. This comic, by the way, is spot on!
That 436 guy promised that he was leaving a few months ago. I guess his complaints are lies, as well, so he’s likely a collector of cute kitty pictures. Maybe we should send him some.
