Skeptic: the major is now in the UCMJ system, and defense challenge is going into “sanity” issues, that may drag on for months, or even years, just like in civilian courts. He is being “protected” in a rather rare activity under the UCMJ: “justice”.
As to “Incidents” leading to our two invasions of countries based on false premise, and outright lies, NOBODY seems to have the guts to actually prosecute the criminals, and the list would be long.
