Mr. Obama is good at spinning the issues and twisting reality into something that does not even look like the truth. Mr. Obama has done everything he can to raise gas prices in order to make green energy more cost effective. Now that gas prices are high, he’s claiming that his policies are not responsible. In fact, he’s trying to make it seem like he personally is behind all the private investment in gas production in the U.S. when the truth is that gas production has increased in the U.S. in spite of his policies. The only energy production that has improved in our country have been in areas where Obama’s policies could not stop private industry from responding to global supply and demand.

As I understand the situation, the only aspect of the pipe-line that needs Federal approval is when said pipe line crosses State boundaries. Therefore, the way to work around O’Buma is for each of the affected States to dig their own part of the line and wait until a real human being is sworn into the Presidency so that all the individual pipe-lines can be connected.Given the amount of time required for all the digging and laying of pipe, electing a real human is in the realm of possibilities. But like this Editorial OPINION cartoon, it’s just my opinion.

With a country as diverse as ours we need a comprehensive solution with all options on the table (gas, oil, wind, hydro, solar, nuclear, coal, etc…)

Liberal environmental snobbery has eliminated the most viable and clean solutions available to us(nuclear and hydro) and left us dependent on the dirtiest (coal).

The CONservative house blocked an ammendment to keystone subbmitted by Ed Markey (D-MA) that would keep oil produced by the keystone pipeline IN AMERICAhttp://thinkprogress.org/green/2012/02/22/430234/bought-by-big-oil-house-gop-vote-against-keeping-keystone-xl-oil-in-america/So you see, it has nothing to do with drilling (8 year high under Obama BTW), it has to do with exporting oil. Keep it here and we can use it.

I don’t do Rush and if you picked up a newspaper you would see that we haven’t built a reactor in 35+ years.

35 years of air pollution causing lung cancer in no telling how many victims.35 years of coal plant acid rain that destroyed countless ecological habitats.

The fact that we’re finally trying to build a few now is simply an acknowledgement that, yet again, the loony liberals got it wrong.
