Frazz by Jef Mallett for March 13, 2012
Transcript:
Frazz: You're even later today. Did you forget to re-program your coffee machine again? Mrs. Olsen: No. I reset it in the wrong direction and had to wait even longer for my coffee. Girl: Wow. How many ways can she screw this up? Frazz: A rhetorical question, I assume. Girl: No I want to know if I need to come in on time tomorrow.

Oh come on. Seriously? Does she stand by the pot and patiently wait for the timer to turn it on? It is either ready when you wake up, or it’s not. If it isn’t, turn it on!

Her coffee maker issues are grounds for making fun of her.

Unfortunately, we’re at the opposite end of the spectrum from the Chinese collective mentality. Ask ANY American to inconvenience themselves even slightly (as a national time zone would do for at least 1/4 of the population), and you open up a s***storm of biblical proportions.

Someone as clueless as her teaching our kids? I don’t even see how she passed her driver’s license test, let alone a teaching degree! :P

Come on guys, it’s the old Absent Minded Professor Syndrome. The best and most loved teachers sometimes seem/are a little scattered….The most important thing is how well she explains and can demonstrate complex idea’s while keeping young restless kids interested in the subject. (Kids who would be playing speed-of-light action games on their phone if they could.)

I have to wonder if her DVD player (or VCR) keeps blinking 12:00.

It’s much harder to program a coffee maker than to simply turn it on.
