-I just wait until they come out on DVD.-

Me too. Theatre sound is very loud, and at my age I need to spare my hearing.

I seem to remember hearing many years back that George Lucas originally intended Star Wars to be a nine-part saga— did he change his mind, or will he make three more movies? If he does, that should help satisfy Dean!

How about spending the next 9 months watching all the great parodies about the STAR WARS Hexology:“HARDWARE WARS” is just the start of a wonderful group of take-offs on the movies.

Two words. Hunger Games… (At least, that’s what my niece would suggest.)

I’ve heard The Phantom Edit is pretty watchable…

And the Robot Chicken takes on Star Wars have been pretty brilliant. I’d recommend the Family Guy versions too, especially the first one, but I think it’ll be a few years before Dean reaches the appropriate age.

I agree with you.I think people are overreacting about the newer star wars movies, All I keep hearing is how everyone hates Jar Jar and yet with the original it was the ewoks everyone complained about.

I quit going to movies years ago as well.Music and sound overpower the dialogue and other people don’t know how to behave in public. Long live Redbox!

I doubt he seriously “planned” the second three Star Wars movies either. I stupidly bought the second three…have watched each one time.

sigh It is kinda the fate of SW fans. I absolutely HATE HATE HATE Clone Wars….. says the girl with all the boxed sets of the show on her shelf…. sob Here, GL, just take all my money, take my soul, even, if it’ll get me another repackaging of the movies.

I am anxiously awaiting “The Hobbit”’ but also with trepidation. I loved the LOTR trilogy so much, I fear I will be disappointed.

Also you can use Close Captioning if you are not able to hear clearly what was being said in a scene.
