Muay Thai has clinches? Since when? As a Thai that’s watched many a match, I’ve never seen a ‘legal’ clinch unless they’re just holding to stop the pommelling and kicking and elbowing and whatever else that makes an effective impact against the opponent.

In MMA, a Muay Thai clinch is when the opponent’s head is grabbed with both hands in order to pull it down into an upcoming knee. Is that not allowed in Muay Thai?
