I don’t agree with you about the ‘fear-momgering’, but having sai that…
Does this mean Steve Benson’s gonna take back the ‘Reich to Choose’ cartoon he drew back then…the one that likened Planned Parenthood to a Nazi concentration camp?
Yep, back in those days Benson was every bit as miltiantly opposed to legalized abortion as he’s depicting Santorum here.
Santorum actually wants to kill birth control, not just abortion. He’s also disapproving of sex IN marriage that isn’t for procreative purposes. And you right-wingers are in favor of getting the government out of private citizens’ lives? Since when? Just the gun racks and corporations, evidently.
What bothers me about ALL the Republican candidates is that they’re all saying what THEY would do, and proving they’ve never read the Constitution. Granted, they may be aware that even the Republican minority DOES take on the power of the actual majority, by their re-written “House rules”, and the power of filibuster.
Wow… SOMEONE hasn’t been listening to these debates. Perhaps if you tried to find out what the candidates really stand for you wouldn’t be this pathetically ignorant.
Interesting…if you apply this piece of total fiction to Obama prior to HIS election, the answer was (in total reality) “hope and change.” And, that is STILL his answer. I wonder if Benson has ever done any sort of inquiry into what his prime choice, other than that he’s got a “D” next to his name. Thus is the stupidity of the partisan mind…
Yeah, I WOULD love to see abortions ended. Last year Planned Parenthood executed 329,445 innocent BABY’s lives with $487.4 MILLION dollars from tax payer money. Who can live with that??? So, yeah, BAN ABORTION!http://cnsnews.com/news/article/planned-parenthood-s-annual-report-got-4874m-tax-money-did-329445-abortions
I would like to see all methods of birth control banned as does Santorum. Women could then have 10 to 15 children as they did in the olds. Keep them barefoot and pregnant. Of course this would be the end of the Republican Party as no woman would ever vote for them again and women make up over 51 per cent of the voters.
The government /candidate has more important things to do than discuss and tell me what I can or cannot do. We don’t vote for issues anymore, we vote Conservative or liberal. I am ready to move far, far away. Where? Another planet I suppose! I am a Republican, DAR and retired professor and I dislike both parties at the moment…including the President.
Steve is a small (minded) hater of anything even remotely conservative. He was kicked out of the Mormon Church . Since then, he has done everything possible to denegrate LDS.
@EtherAir How sad that you can look at families that have more than one child and wish that none of them had been born. Are you the first child in your family? If so, gee, must be nice, if not, aren’t you glad YOUR mother didn’t abort you? And if not, then why would you wish that on others? Good enough for you to have lived, but not them?
@Yashpar – Oh, WELLLLL then, only 3%…..gee, that makes it ALL ok then, doesn’t it? What’s another baby killed? Heck, sure am GLAD you get to live out YOUR life! You got yours, who cares about a baby that will never get a chance to experience life……right?
Piano Guy, you’re quoting lies. No taxpayer money is used for abortions. Women pay for them themselves. Planned Parenthood prevents far more abortions than it performs.
Can’t help but note that Santorum and Romney pop the little offspring out like production line clones, and are supported by folks who do nothing but complain about less lucky folks not born with silver spoons, having the same habit, on welfare.
If you don’t want abortion as “birth control”, stop arguing against birth control, and education to prevent unwanted conception. Also, as 50% of fertilized embryo don’t attach to the uterus, ban the sale of tampons, and arrest any woman having sexual intercourse who has her period.
Mitt Romney’s positions are weak & shallow. Rick Santorum’s are stupid. Ron Paul’s are racist, idiotic, and often cruel. Newt Gingrich’s are self-delusions. I can’t wait for more of this primary season.
Saying that churches should not have to, through ‘forced speech,’ inform their employees about abortifacts and birth control, let alone pay through it in some way or form – is what the issue is: Constitutionally protected religious freedom.

LOL Yeah right Harley….Trying to find fault with Rick Sanctimonious is about as difficult as trying to find sand on a beach.
( In 2006, for example he was listed as one of the three most corrupt members of the Senate. )
Now, if you want to see someohe who IS digging desperatly for dirt, go back and read YOUR anti Obama posts from the last few days.

At a minimum, if we do bring a baby into the world, we should try to create a world in which that baby can thrive. Right to a Good Life.
