BO is basically a MARXIST.His agenda has been to sneak it in by stealth, similiar to the Democrats since FDR, but since 2009 in HIGH GEAR.-Obama’s takeover of HealthCare is socialism in action.Even partly Fascist….the industry is owned by many private owners along with government facilities, but the Feds havetotal CONTROL.-Doctors are terrified….the “wrong diagnosis” according to fed bureaucrats will deny payment….the payments Dr.s and hospitals provide are being paid for by NON-NEGOTIATED RATES….and they receive only a small % of the billing due.I have proof of this since I was forced into Medicare at age 65; I have stacks of printed payments showing charges versus fed payments and private insurance payments….based on a % of what Medicare paid….cheating providers of income that they are entitled to based on very expensive years of education and practice.-p.s. “BiPartisan” to Obama and the congressional Democrats is this=“GOP cave-in to Democratic Demands”!

A few Republicans go over and turn on the lights in the Senate every 3 days. They say the Pledge of Allegiance, then adjourn. That is why none of Obama’s appointees have been confirmed. It is all a “gentleman’s agreement” made years ago.So Obama just installed some appointees without Senate approval. The one the Republicans hate most is the new consumer protection agency that is likely to take on the 400% interest payday loans and 900% interest car title loans. That is why the obstructinist Republicans are mad.Obama finally is standing up and doing what needs to be done.I am glad to see it.

Obama’s health care plan is socialist? Come on, get serious. If only it were!As flawed as it is, I still hope it has established the principle that every citizen should have health insurance. Once the principle is established, maybe we can work towards a system that makes better sense. A single-payer system would be an improvement.

Obama whines constantly (he’ll actually go through his entire (hopefully only) term campaigning for reelection, perhaps a first in American history) about Republicans holding everything back, but they’re only disagreeing with what this lying moron has done to put us in an even DEEPER hole (which he PROMISED to get us out of). Obama only wants to do MORE of the same thing that is killing us (if I must remind you progressive/collectivists, he has EMBRACED all of Bush’s economic policies, and has DOUBLED-DOWN ON THEM). If this were a Republican doing these things (which would have happened with McCain, since he’s a big-government progressive Republican), you Democrats would be screaming bloody-murder about it, but because Obama is in charge, you mindless partisans believe he knows best. WAKE UP!

Mr. johannbilimu, you have fallen asleep listening to faux noise. Most of us have been awake and know that it is not government that is the problem, it is the control of our government by big corporations. Go back to sleep now, but turn off your faux news first, or you may continue to have irrational nightmares.

Why talk about Bipartisanship? There is nothing bipartisan about 2 years of forcing Obamacare thru congress. There is nothing bipartisan about threats to shutting down the govt. There is nothing bipartisan about threats of VETO. There is nothing bipartisan about BO’s Speech to congress on Jobs ideas. There is nothing bipartisan about all the Economy Legislation passed by the House and buried in the Senate. There is nothing bipartisan about the Super Committee. There is nothing bipartisan about BO’s campaign fund-raising trips since September.

I don’t know what’s worse, that the “righties” here don’t know the difference between “socialism”, “communism”, “Marxism”, or recognize their own support of “Fascism”. As to “bipartisan”, Boehner and McConnell have proven they, and their party, can’t define that either.

Rockngolfer said, about 8 hours agoA few Republicans go over and turn on the lights in the Senate every 3 days……(end quote).-that is interesting (and funny) because the Democrats run the Senate!-this president is breaking rules, breaking laws and violating the Constitution.Recess appointments are legal only when Congress (both houses) are in official “RECESS”.-I think the cartoon may be meaning that Obama has put himself in SOLITARY….which is the opposite to being “engaged in the political process” with Congress, which Obama has been steadily IGNORING! He is reported to be shunning even elected Democrats! He seems to think he has the same power as Chavez and his dictator ilk. But our government was set up to be “balanced” with 3 branches serving in making laws, enforcing laws and judging laws. The USA is not supposed to be a One Man Rule.

POV I can understand — and I’m no friend of Soviet bloc communism. If he were just to say “Communism was horrible, and I know because I lived through it”, I would have no problem. It’s when he claimed to know all about Marx and Marxism and then showed deep ignorance, that’s what annoyed me.

Loans to make payroll: Dr. William Pentz, 47, a cardiologist with a Philadelphia private practice, and his partners had to tap into their personal assets to make payroll for employees last year. “And we still barely made payroll last paycheck,” he said. “Many of us are also skimping on our own pay.”

Pentz said recent steep 35% to 40% cuts in Medicare reimbursements for key cardiovascular services, such as stress tests and echocardiograms, have taken a substantial toll on revenue. “Our total revenue was down about 9% last year compared to 2010,” he said.

    12 entrepreneurs reinventing health care

“These cuts have destabilized private cardiology practices,” he said. “A third of our patients are on Medicare. So these Medicare cuts are by far the biggest factor. Private insurers follow Medicare rates. So those reimbursements are going down as well.”

Pentz is thinking about an out. “If this continues, I might seriously consider leaving medicine,” he said. “I can’t keep working this way.”Also on his mind, the impending 27.4% Medicare pay cut for doctors. “If that goes through, it will put us under,” he said. ***********this is cut/pasted EXCERPT from 1/6/12 CNN MONEY article “Doctors Going Broke”….NOTE….“recent steep 35% to 40% cuts in Medicare reimbursements…” and “the impending 27.4% Medicare pay cut for doctors”….-Obama is destroying the best medical care system in the world by trying to imitate SOCIALIST EUROPE’s systems.Obama is also trying to scare drug research/development companies with federal strong-arm measures….there is already a growing shortage of prescription drugs…more incidents each year…do we try Dr.Quinn, Medicine Woman herbs????

I have long had the encyclopedia definitions of socialism, communism, fascism and totalitarianism. When I see someone using Marx-Engel theories of “change” in opposing theories and a new “synthesis” and more “change”, I see Obama using slivers of every form of totalitarianism in its “childhood” state of being, with future adaptations toward the total control by soviet-type “elite” which now exists in part. “Control” of business and healthcare by programs and laws with the Big Brother Government having the upper hand, and control of MSMedia by willing hand-maids, and all the other signs of “change” away from our original type of Governing of the People BY the People…with state and local and individual RIGHTS being slowly strangled…..I call it like I see it.

Your basic understanding of politics is limited to name calling. Why not just call the President a thespian ? No one isforced into Medicare. You are probably just clueless. You are just raging against something you obviously can not grasp.”

-my answer to oquaig is my post above. And I was forced into Medicare when I became age 65….my private insurance company (I had private insurance from age 16 on my first job until I turned age 65)sent an agent to inform me that after I was 65 years old they were cancelling my policy. My only alternative to Medicare was to be totally without any insurance.

That was the comment by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee on the Ryan Plan, “The Path To Prosperity” that it would end Medicare, that PolitiFact labeled last April “Lie of the Year.”………This is from Dec 22…….NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — The payroll tax impasse in Congress has put Medicare doctors on edge over the likelihood that their pay could be slashed 27.4% in two weeks time.

Under current law, health care providers to the nation’s 45 million Medicare beneficiaries — including physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists and podiatrists — face reduced government reimbursement payments on Jan. 1.

But the payroll tax cut bill also includes a “patch” that would have prevented the Medicare payment cuts from occurring in the New Year.

The problem is that the bill, passed by the Senate, has been rejected by the House — and both chambers of Congress, for now at least, have recessed for the year.………..and here’s the update…..The President did sign the two month extension on Dec 23, so we will have the same “brinksmanship” in February to look forward to……oh the joy.

Read your article…. it’s about Ryan’s Plan, not about the current blocking in congress.……..Here is the article you posted…Republicans muscled a budget through the House of Representatives in April that they said would take an important step toward reducing the federal deficit. Introduced by U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, the plan kept Medicare intact for people 55 or older, but dramatically changed the program for everyone else by privatizing it and providing government subsidies.

Democrats pounced. Just four days after the party-line vote, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee released a Web ad that said seniors will have to pay $12,500 more for health care “because Republicans voted to end Medicare.”

…Now, PolitiFact has chosen the Democrats’ claim as the 2011 Lie of the Year.

It’s the third year in a row that a health care claim has won the dubious honor. In 2009, the winner was the Republicans’ charge that the Democrats’ health care plan included “death panels.” In 2010, it was that the plan was a “government takeover of health care.”

…..Church, they pick Lie of the Year once a year. “Try to keep up.”

Mr. Obama, you are a nice guy like that other nice guy in the motion picture, you know, Jimmy Stewart in the movie, “Mr. Smith Goes To Washington” ! ! ! Mr. Obama goes to Washington like Jimmy Stewart with high hopes of saving the nation from a deep, deep Depression by all emergency means whatever and with the full co-operation of both political parties in this gigantic effort like planning for D-Day and from day one, the G.O.P. pledges itself as the “no new taxes” party and “our mission is to drown the Captain of the Ship of State by sinking the Ship of State” as a consequence of stone-walling by 90 Tea-Party teabaggers in the House of Representatives and a few Senators to obstruct all Democratic legislation for full employment and national recovery. Their overall mission: to blame Obama for failure to achieve jobs recovery in elections of 2012. Mission Accomplished………..

My original comment was to disgustedtaxpayer, who was writing about the Medicare reductions in payments. ……. She wrote about a Dr. Pentz who said…“If this continues, I might seriously consider leaving medicine,” he said. “I can’t keep working this way.”Also on his mind, the impending 27.4% Medicare pay cut for doctors. “If that goes through, it will put us under,” he said." ……These cuts the congress has blocked every year for a decade, until now.……You jump in with your PolitiFact “Lie of the Year” , which was about the Dems statement in April saying that Ryan’s Plan would end Medicare. …….The two things are different.
