    You don’t sweep ;like that. All you’re doing is spreading the dust all over the place. The woman I lived with many years ago told me that you should sweep with small gentle strokes. I have found it to be very effective.

    One of Murphy’s Laws at work: to make something clean, something else must get dirty.

    I think there’s a similar law of thermodynamics there too.

    Barracks sweeping detail. Sweep dust into a pile then spread it out again. Repeat until chow time.
