Trying to get a pity date out of Gretchen probably isn’t going to be any more successful…

Is Monty actually trying to look nerdy? Gretchen, don’t you have some dishes to wash in the back room, or something? This is too painful….

Doesn’t he always look like that or are those his date clothes?.Thank goodness this arc’s over…. bring on Fleshy.

@opentomeet – Nope. A couple months ago there was an arc where an escaped prisoner breaks into his house to steal clothes, and all Monty has is a bunch of the same outfit with the green plaid pants.

Geeky clothes should be called MONTY CLOTHES!

Monty needs the “Code Purple” from todays 9 Chickweed lane.

Monty may be a geek. He may be a nerd. He may be completly inept in the outside would. But he is still lovable and someday Mr. Meddick is going to realize it and give him a soulmate. And that will be the end of the strip and we will have to move on to others not quite as entertaining.

Monty did not do well at speed dating and yet, he sounds like he is bragging about how poorly things went.
