I recall an idiom about opportunity, “when a door closes a window opens,” but I still don’t see the joke here.

Huh??

The saying (from The Sound of Music) is, “When the Lord closes a door, somewhere He opens a window.” It means that if one opportunity is no longer an option, we should look for something else, rather than give up.

I am glad to learn what God looks like, but I must say that I am disappointed to see how unattractive Mrs. God is.

Mrs. God? I thought Mr. G was a “Loner”? Maybe she’s His maid?

The Mormons say that there is a “Mrs. God.”

reminds me of a church camp song’’’shut the door keep out the devil..open the window and let God in’….I suppose if you knew the melody it would make more sense….but you get my point…
