Happy Hanukkah also. I’m not jewish, but I respect their traditions.

Joan knows how to make latkas? (given that Val had once stated that Joan’s cooking was about 95% Kraft Dinner)

I like them, too. Bring some home for the dog. If I don’t get there first!

And that’s just part of the reason I say “Happy Holidays”.

Once for one of my sisters’ Christmas class parties, they did Hanukkah games and I was in charge of the game with the top, which was fun.

Who would want to eat the late Andy Kaufman’s character on Taxi?

They are a very simple dish to fix (depending on how you want to season them) and in this day and age, recipes are so easy to find (and chose specifics- such as sweet potato latkas) that I hardly ever refer to all my cookbooks any more (other than some of the old favs that the family want and I have marked up with all my adaptations in the margins.
