That word “entitlement” is one of the slicker propaganda tools the GOP has come up with in a while to describe something WE HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR, like Social Security…
so many errors, so little time…Your payments into Social Security…were spent on retirement & Medicare for the workers who retired the same year you paid in. That money is gone into Other People’s Pockets.-the GOP did not invent the term “entitlements”….the Democrat Keynisians invented it….theory and practice. It is the Democrat Party that created the “Entitlement Society” of citizens, workers and NONworkers, to demand equal support and provisions from Big Daddy Democrat Government.-a “Balanced Budget” is “Spending Cuts—-real, not just trimming the Annual Increases” and “Tax Reform and Reduction” —NOT “tax revenue hikes”…..and “SSA and Medicare Reform”…..and a Serious Diet of Federal Check-writin
“Tax revenue” has always been a joke. The government gets its money from the Fed, which prints it. Do the simple math, and you will find that ten years’ worth of taxes on all Americans would not pay for even one “stimulus” package.
WOW…the side on the left is precisely the TEA PARTY position. The other side is the progressives of both parties doing the status quo. For once in his life, Rogers stumbles into the truth. It’s a shame that he doesn’t fully connect the dots.
WOW…you’ve completely fallen off the globe here. YOUR MONEY has been spent to pay for OTHER PEOPLE’S SS. YOUR SS is being paid by people who are currently working. That’s how it works. It is a system that is doomed to fail, because it cannot sustain itself in that fashion. It MUST be reformed.
