The Richthuglicons have presented us with the worst selection of dumbwads, the morally bankrupt and doctrinaire lunatics one could imagine, and that’s a simple statement of fact, not an ad hominum.Here’s how I see it. The Thugs are finally going to realize they’ve got no one to run with, and besides BHO is simply a moderate Republican from 20 years ago. So they’ll decide to heck with it and save their money and all the humiliation they’d suffer and not run a candidate next year.But that’s not all. BHO really doesn’t seem to have his heart in it and is obviously fed up with an infantile Congress. So come the Democratic convention next year, with the Thugs out of it, he’ll just get up in front of God and everyone and say “Well, I’ve had enough. It’s Hillary’s turn!” She’s said she doesn’t want to run, but this way she doesn’t have to do the primary thing again, and the election would be her’s on a silver platter. Besides, I’ll bet that was the arrangement 3 years ago.And, oh, the vision of all those TP heads going pop, Pop, POP!
They won’t pick Huntsman for anything, after all he’s obviously a “commie”- speaking Mandarin and actually knowing something about China, and world politics, and well anything.

The only reason McCain got saddled with her (he didn’t pick her) was that the Republican insiders knew that he couldn’t win and had some long term strategy that included a side-show. Of course the only reason he got his shot (so to say) was because those same insiders knew no Republican could have won. If by some miracle, the Republican Convention comes up with a plausible candidate, it will mean they (the insiders) think they have a chance of winning; but in 1979, who thought a former B actor from California was a “plausible candidate”? It is all very scary. Maybe we should hope AlexanderTGE is right.
