Missed the point that JC was mad at the money changers because they were doing it in the temple, not because they were changing money.

Anyway, the point Bors was trying to make is still valid, even if the analogy is messed up.

It’s not that hard, folks. Jesus did indeed object to greed and asked his apostles to give up all they had to the poor. He was quite radical, and would be seen so today, in his rejection of wealth and the control of people by the hypocrites in charge. (“Pray not as the hypocrites do, that they may be seen.”) Sound familiar? It should.

Bors simply gets it right, and could have included those “hypocrites” who pray and sway in public, actually defying their “deity”. Jesus DID have some good lessons to teach, but that “bring not peace, but a sword” has been abused more than a tad by his hypocrite “followers” over the centuries. I “love it” when my son-in-law and other evangelicals gather all these books and “lessons” on how if you just pray right, Jesus will make you rich. Nope, no hypocrisy there, nope, nope, nope. Good one Bors.

Nicely stated, Canuck.Chur.‘s “hearing an interview” ranks down there with his video of someone saying that “Obama will pay her rent”. The latter video was false, so I expect the same of this “heard… interview”.We need more progress & more reason. The 99% are beginning to rise up against the 1%. It is time to end class warfare against the working-class. Those who are the plutocrats’ tools, well, I feel most sorry for them, but no one made them side against the interests of fairness and of their own.
