    In fact, even the word ‘pregnant’ was forbidden. A woman was said to be ‘that way’ or a more risque person would say that she is ‘p.g.’ Either way, the phrases were barely uttered, very quietly.

    I believe that “I Love Lucy” broke some ground by referring to Mrs. Arnaz as “enceinte”.

    They were left a chest full of tools. However, this arc got me reading the books again (you can get all 20 or so from the Australian Gutenburg project site) and I missed how amazingly racist Burroughs was when I read them first years ago.

    A chimney without mortar nor brick , maybe stones were found on the island. Nails were in the chest. Old Edgar Rice Burroughs had a good imagination back in the 50’s for constructing make shift buildings.
