Interesting point, michaelwme. I don’t think Vietnamese food started to become popular until about fifteen years after the war, but your point is well made.Presumably the Afghani product to which you refer is heroin?

There is no correlation. Japan, Germany and Vietnam made great sushi, cars and noodles before the wars
