Aid: Republicans don't like you because they think you're the same as Obama. Mitt Romney: I'm still leading. But from behind. Tom: Trailing from the front.
Someone told me a story once. He was in grade school and one of his classmates was complaining that his older brother had told him to ‘F___ off." The teacher heard it and was about to give him detention, but he got out of it by pointing out that HE hadn’t said it, someone else had, and he wasn’t any happier about it than the teacher was.Later, of course, it turned out that his brother had said no such thing; he just wanted to see if he could get away with saying the ‘F-word’ in class. That’s the level of maturity we’re dealing with here…and I see it on the web all the time. F’rinstance, I knew one guy who started a thread on the ( now defunct ) Ed Schultz forum entiteld, “Is this covered by the First Amendment?”When you opened it, you found yourself looking at picture of Barack Obama as an African native. And not a real one, we’re talking Tarzan-Film type…bone through his nose and all.
Mitt may be behind the cart an pushing instead of pulling, because of the same problem Obama has. It’s really hard to pull a heavy wagon that requires an eight horse hitch of Clydesdales, when all you can round up to help you is a single Shetland pony.
The Republicans have no one. No candidate of theirs is a “good” candidate. But whoever they nominate (with a whopping 11% of caucus votes over the other 9), will get the full and unquestioning support of the entire party. One big difference between Dems and Reps is that Democrats have a lot of different ideas within the Party. Republicans have NO good ideas, but whatever they come up with gets repeated and shouted louder and louder by the mindless seagulls. You’ll never see an Obama vs. Hillary on the right side.
It has been raining or six or seven hours now. I didn’t not know there was rain predicted. Do you think it will be serious? I do not think it will be because god would never follow up an earthquake with another serious natural event.

I think it was some Texas pol who said “It doesn’t matter who does the voting as long as I get to do the nominating”

The GOP are getting to be masters at Newspeak: Romney calling himself a Frontrunner, Palin calling herself “the Undefeated…”
