The real problem, worst at Fox, is that “news” IS all about “personalities”- not facts, or actual NEWS. Both presenters AND the stories are about personalities. A woman in Florida is photogenic, and a three-year-old case is constant “news” for weeks. A family of five (four young children and mom) is stabbed to death, the possible perp is not at all photogenic and doesn’t get a mention outside local coverage. Paris Hilton is a “news” item, as is Lindsey Lohan, and we wonder about the “news” or American mentality and “an informed pubic”??

I view Fox, hold a Master’s degree from USC, the equivalent of a couple more from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the Air War College. I also served in Vietnam and the First Gulf War. I’ve been on the ground throughout SEA, SWA , Europe and Central America. You might actually want to view Fox before calling it “right wing.” I mean, really, you consider Juan Williams, Bob Bechel, Shep Smith asw extreme rightists? Who are your centrists? Trotsky? Mao?
