I would like a Republican to explain something to me. If tax cuts are the answer to all our economic woes, and the Bush tax cuts have been in effect since 2001, then why did we still have a recession?
@Darkeforce @ing HOWGOZIT: Obama really, really, really wanted cooperation between the two parties. To a fault, it seems. I hope before Obama’s second term is over, we have a national single payer healthcare program in place. We desperately need PROFIT out of that equation.

I say restore the tax rate of Ronald Reagan. If the Republicans want so much to emulate them, they should have no objections to his tax rates.
