I just wanted to say I was VERY pleased to see “AMERICA!” cat making the banner for F minus. I’m only regretful it didn’t make the actual American flag. Was also quite pleased to see World’s Worst Grandpa on there <3
Poker, particularly Texas hold’em, was on several channels last summer and will probably be back again in this year’s doldrums.
We had a chess club in my high school back in the late ‘40s. We tried to get competition with other high schools’ in town, but found there were none. Two tried to organize but school authorities would not permit it – one with no reason given, the other “if you have chess, someone will be wanting poker.”
I like the animated strip…. but I wish that the bald, mustachioed “1800’s-esque” guy could also be on the animated strip at the top of this comic. He hasn’t been seen lately, and I hope Tony is trying to find some more ways to fit him in!
