One can hope. He’s at least giving the impression of trying to change them. What I find amusing is it seems the far-lefties are pissed at Obama for picking him, and the far-righties are pissed at him for accepting. Tells me someone’s doing something right.
I think it would be fascinating if Warren were to give backing to Obama’s consideration of national recognition of Civil Unions. That could take the heat out of both the left and the right wings on the issue of Same Sex Marriage for some time.

If he wants to be so inclusive why not invite the Klan to the inaugral parade? I’m sure they would love to get close to Obama.
