The Carradine family wants the FBI to get involved. They really don’t.
They’re not going to like it when all of David’s personal pecidilloes and sexual quirks come out. It’s also a sure bet he wasn’t alone (c’mon- Bankok hotel room? Please…).
It’s not the worst way to go (esp at his age), but it’s not the most dignified either.
If they want to prevent this from becoming a endless fodder for Jay Leno, they will let this lay.

I suppose that few psychoanalysts would see an accident here as the panel does. It focuses his “victimization” on the autoeroticism. That makes it an accident. ALL he was trying to do was get pleasure or off or both and he wound up dead. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Folly. Satire is to ridicule wickedness and folly. I doubt the panel intends to imply wickedness. I doubt many psychoanalysts would find it all that accidental. I admit I know nothing about the Carradines, but whenever someone famous’s son kills himself, I wonder what the pressures were, and whether help would not have helped. It’s not so funny to me. Maybe the publicity can warn someone to cool it on the extreme indoor sports, but it feels to me more like making a gag out of a death before the so-called decent interval. Or maybe not.

Reminds me of a Bobcat Goldthwait bit where he talks about a conversation on the set of “Blow” w/ Johnny Depp (on probation from trashing a hotel room), himself (on probation from starting a fire on The Tonight Show) and PeeWee Herman (uh….. anyway….).
Atmosphere in BK des seem to make a hard man humble & the tough guys tumble … But is this cartoon maybe a little cruel? I mean David was probably a harmless enough fellow and does leave a grieving family…not sure.
Not that I don’t still admire Ted.

Did you know the FBI do not suspect Osama Bin Laden of doing the WTC hit in 2001? Or did they deliberately misspel his name?
