She can’t go since she has school. Too bad this wasn’t in the summer, she could’ve gone too. I wonder how long grandma will be gone.

She could claim home schooling. Helping to build a house teaches math, civics, art, probably some science (at least architecture) and languages.

Unfortunately, going with grandma probably won’t meet the state’s legalistic guidelines for attendance. No room for something good like this. Poo!
