She’s been so rotten this last few weeks that I can’t say I feel sorry for her.

Who cares what kind of reaction she has…she did it to herself. I would have told her immediately!

Holly’s “catch” detector didn’t work today.

Good point arsmall–that would have overridden Holly’s malfunctional catch-detector.

Making it rhyme would tick me off even more. It would sound like she was making fun of me and mocking me. Just tell her the truth straight out and sound a tiny bit sympathetic.

HA HA! I remember the one (and Only) time I had to take summer school. NO fun. She’ll learn the hard way…Do the work while you’re in school or no fun for summer! Summer is your reward for working so hard all year. :P

For AndiJ: That’s “Do the work while you’re in school”. You are sentenced to a summer school course in remedial spelling and grammar ;<)

Holly knows her grades and how “hard” she’s worked this year. This CANNOT be a surprise.

Alix should have been given the “honour” of telling Holly after what was pulled on her.

@Saucy1121: Of course it’s a shock and surprise to her. She’s Holly: she’s special; she does whatever she wants and whatever seems easiest/slickest/whatever to her. It would never cross her mind that she would have to deal with consequences. She’s different!

No, I don’t agree with her for an instant, but I’ve been there enough myself to understand how she feels. About time she got yanked up short. She needs to know that there are consequences, even for her.

Poor Alix, she gets a summer of dirty diapers and dealing with the Ritalin Boy. Holly gets summer school. Holly is getting off way too easy.

Summer school actually wasn’t that bad. For me it was just the one class I failed, and they gave all the participants a pool party in tribute to the hard work we did to pass.

Very awesome right there. Plus, it also makes me feel glad that I’m out of school, too. :)
