Ooh a mystery…missing tuna, green jumper, socks, tyres. Weird combo. I’m guessing the kids sent them next door.

It’s a tire swing, you can tell with the way Alex looks!

Drystyha says green _engineer noticed your spelling of tyre, Are you british per chance? Of course he is didn’t you notice he used the word jumper for sweater? My son-in-law is British so I’m learning all the oddities.

Lol. Drystyha and sugie63, yes I’m British and a ‘she’ by the way. I didn’t realise I’d be caught out due to my spelling. You both made me smile, cheers :).

sugie no, I ddin’t notice the use of jumper, because I was thinking of a jumper, you know, another one of those things that no longer exist! (gawd, am I dating myself here! LOL)

    green_engineer Cheers to you too!

BTW, Canucks also for the most part (some exceptions) use British spellings–albeit with Americanese word-usage and grammar.

Somewhat off-topic irony: despite of having been raised mostly in Calgary (Canada), I tend to think of myself as more compatible with a Brit than a Canuck or Yank.

Also, on the tuna (and beans)–Holly and Alix probably sent those first as disaster-preventive (Val getting hold of those and trying to prepare anything).

On the jumper: Holly’s probably hidden it amongst her clothes (has Val ever asked her to clean the room? If so, perfect hiding place)

If there’s a new tyre/tire swing in the yard, Val will sneak a nice relaxing ride on it and all will be forgiven.. (hey Val better check to see it’s safely attached first!) OR, maybe the tire is being employed by Wally, working in the background - kids being generous to their unemployed uncle?? (bless their little hearts)

My bet is that Alex has put all of that stuff in or on her Tree Fort!! Remember that? Joan’s son fell out of it and hit his head!! But Wally looks suspicious too … look at that sideways glance!
