    Instead of a working mom or a stay-at-home mom, she was a pay-at-home mom! Great work - she got paid for being at home!

    To ge honset, i can see why Alaska would have a provsion for stste workers teleworking - consider the weather conditions and the (for want of a better word) roads…

    fairportfan, Won’t fuss about state employees with your comment. There’s a governor’s manson that comes with the job but Gov Palin elected to live at home and then charge the state per diem for it.

    Hmmmm When Jesse The Brain was governor here he shut down the mansion and opted to live at his house. I doubt he charged us to live there.

    (Although there was a kerfuffle over a messy party his son threw in the mansion).
