In my old neighborhood in Detroit, the homeless guys (called “bums” then) made “Pink Ladies.” Briefly: a combination of Sterno and orange pop.

Is it called “rubbing alcohol” because just the right amount of alcohol will lead to rubbing (he said hopefully)?
