Jon Sequitur, I just tried and had no problems at all making the edit and delete buttons in Chrome do what they should. Are you sure it isn’t something else?

OK then, I’m sure they’ll give you your money back.

I’ve been wondering: has God had a computer from the very start, or did he have to wait for humans to invent it?

Off the Homer-ous topic at hand, but if God’s using a computer, I hope he doesn’t need to reboot anytime soon.

Just to clarify this again… the character at the computer is Bert, the counseling angel for Homer, not God.

Also, there will be a big announcement tomorrow!

On the Jesus and puns thing - I don’t think *he* would have had a problem - he even healed a child because her mother gave a smart answer to his initial refusal (the Syro-Phonecian woman, if I recall correctly)

    I can’t look!!!

I love the Sunday story series. If you miss a week, it’s really easy to go back and pick it up by clicking on the calendar above the comic. Somebody was complaining about that last week. Eash…

And Wiley, please don’t let the announcement be that you’re retiring!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! What would this world be without Danae, Capt. Eddie and Obvious Man?!

Going back to yesterday, if you want to read more clever word play, may I recommend Jasper Fforde, Robert Rankin, Christopher Moore, and of course, Terry Pratchett.

I heard that Calvin Klein is going to combine it’s two most famous perfumes. “Obsession” and “Eternity”. They’re calling it “Obscenity”…

    “Obsession” … “Eternity” … “Obscenity”

They’re hoping for better luck than when they bought Perry Ellis’ Reserve and combined it with Obsession.

Not much they could do but sit there and watch their stock prices tank on that one.

It takes guts to share your beliefs … . and your chicken! Man, I do love a good chicken … and having a personal belief system ain’t too shabby either. The way I see it, both keep you healthy and are great stuffed and baked!

to all the halfwits on here bringing their political and religious diatribe: with all due respect, GO AWAY. This is a cartoon people, not a forum for you to spout. If you want to spout go to Doonesbury or State of the Union and argue all you want, but please, please, leave those of us who just want to laugh about the comic alone.

Punning authors: Harry Harrison’s “Bill the Galactic Hero”– the original, not the crummy sequels.

Paraphrasing: “Bill kept his extra cash in a toy rubber cat he found, and bit by bit the kitty grew.”

I was under the impression that we were spouting our fowl beliefs (haha, get it?), not our individual political and religious stances. I’m having fun … why get uptight?

    Now I’m hungry. :(
