He should have a lot of company, and party has nothing to do with it. A crook is a crook.

Hey, the law is the law. Crooked pols should get behind bars, as simple as that. Glad to hear it still happens every now and then - perhaps it will help keep them honest.

Had he been born white, he would have been a “I am not a crook” Republican.

Gee, Tripe, lots of us libr’als is taxpayin’, patriotic, God fearin’, normal folk!

We see government as a useful mechanism in society. Former congressman Jefferson’s behavior gives our institutions a bad name. Party does not trump honesty.

No make lots of room for his colleagues. While not all of them are crooked there are dozens of them that are. Many are getting away with it and plan to do more. A criminal is a criminal despite what party they hail from. They should all be held responsible without regard to their title.

charlie…lots of Americans are taxpaying, God-fearing, normal folk. We have allowed ourselves to become so consumed in party-based arguments that we quickly forget that.

If we’d quit fighting the party battle and start fighting the actual war our country would be better off for all involved. I will say this over and over: the real battle isn’t Democrat vs. Republican, liberal vs conservative. The real battle is the Government vs. We The People. The government wants more and more power and they only way they can get it is to take it from the States and from We The People.

We still can’t see the forest for the trees and our elected officials are making sure that remains the case.
