Orthopraxy trumps orthodoxy, all the time.
Yeah, I agree with my old friend motivemagus. First, Mann & Ornstein’s book is definitely worth reading. And second, Markstein is giving into the fallacy of parity here. Put simply, the biggest problem in Washington right now is the Republican Party. (And it started before the Tea Party.) (Though the Tea Party has made everything monumentally worse!)
Voters in California don’t get to decide about other people’s civil rights. What if voters in the state of North Carolina decided that post-menopausal women couldn’t get married? In the same way, that vote would be completely invalid. You don’t get to vote on civil rights. You don’t get to single out a group of people for different treatment.
Right, Ms. Ima. Lies like President Ronald Reagan, while surrounded by the most effective armed guards in the world, shot in a 1981 assassination attempt. Then, over a decade later, that same Reagan supported a ban on assault weapons.
It’s been that way ever since Newt sat down with the party leaders at the beginning of the Obama Administration and told them to stonewall on everything.
Right, ConserveGov. Because only unarmed people ever get shot.
Yeah, that pesky 2%. We have to make sure we don’t let such a small minority get rights. The rest of us might run out of ours! There are only so many to go around, right?
Hi Anthony, old friend. Are my fellow Christians causing more problems around here? Just remember there are plenty of us intelligent liberal Christians around. We’ve just had way too many other things going on in life to keep up with GoComics lately.
Nicely done, Jones. Very nicely done, indeed.
Geez, I come back after being away for months, and HOWGOZIT is still spewing nonsense?
