Well, it was Bill Buckley Jr., a conservative Republican, that has suggested that we should declare victory and legalize, and tax drugs, some 25-years ago.
Stop picking on the users, and start prosecuting the pushers, like big pharma with their endless TV ads to hook folks on drugs they probably don’t need, and lobbying in Congress to protect their profits?
Pot isn’t a narcotic to begin with, so taking it off schedule 1 and decriminalizing it makes more sense than making it so profitable on the “black market”.

Terrible. What is this cartoon implying? The DOJ isn’t pushing pot or dealing in it, or using it as a weapon; it’s just not overriding state laws about it any more. Its involvement with marijuana is less, not more.
This cartoon means the opposite of what it’s intended to mean.
I wish those who get so upset about pot would get as upset about alcohol and tobacco, they do far more damage and cause more deaths then pot. They should all be legal, but tightly regulated.

The US could do worse than decriminalize marijuana. I don’t see it happening soon, though.

Doesn’t smoking pot turn you into a gay socialist Nazi pedophile?
