In other words, if you’re not as tall as that line or taller, you won’t (or can’t) be bitten.

This reminds me of the amusement park measures, for a kiddy ride, you’d have to be as tall as 6 feet, to go alone, of course, but seriously?! Those rides are a scam, literally.
