I dunno, I see a lot of good things happening here. Liz didn’t dump him, she just said not to do that again. Garfield seems pleased by what happened to the chihuahua, and he didn’t think negative thoughts about Jon’s attempt to serenade Liz to begin with. Maybe he likes Liz, as Jon’s girlfriend only. Giving up their bachelor pad and his Top Cat status aren’t happening so far. I don’t see Jon going the Cathy route.

Doc, that wasn’t the best drawing of Garfield, considering the artist (whose name escapes me) did a pretty good job on some of the other toons.
