Taking a photograph of a child (female) and Photoshopping it to advance its apparent age - ie to give that photo the secondary sexual characteristics of the adult female while retaining a recognisable child’s face - is illegal under British law, and can get people making and trading such images busted as paedophiles. (deliberately “sexualising” an image of a child).
So I’ve broken the law for being here….
As if that wasn’t enough (and if Teena’s boyfriend were fourteen or over, and she eleven, by accepting this photo he’d be expected under law to carry some blame for perverting her morals - that statutory rape thing), our lords and masters currently plan to make drawn, artistic, and cartoon representations of “sexualised” children illegal.
Lawmakers in the USA, as well as GB< are pushing for this piece of official ridiculuousness to be enacted as law.
Which if law means that:-
i) Ms Barrows is a child-molestor for drawing this cartoon;
ii) GoComics are guilty of aiding and abetting paedophilia for publishing it to the Web;
iii) we’re all slavering perverts for downloading it.
Somewhere on this site there’s a striking anti-paedophilia cartoon by Alison Barrows, so I can safely attest she’s no perve… but doesn’t it make you sick, eh, the stupidity of our politicians!
