A sure sign that Calvin’s recovered: he’s now as selfish and demanding as ever.

Did anyone stop to consider that being confined to be is too boring for Calvin and he wants to go back to school? Think of the adventure! Will Mom think to call and warn Calvin’s teacher or will she give herself an evil chuckle and let fate be fate?

Calvin, where’s your PR consultant? You need another communication strategy to get more out of your “in-bed” situation

My guess would be Hobbes is in the top dresser drawer with Calvin’s shirts pulled over his head because as we all know tigers have very sensitive hearing. And let us not forget his sence of smell, and guessing that Calvin is about to get the bleeep slapped out of him..!

Eventually Hobbes wouldn’t agree with Calvin’s line of argument and doesn’t like to get involved… hehe… :-)

It’s the human condition: Adam and Eve in the garden, just like Calvin and Hobbes staying home from school, neither realized what a good thing they had. Seems like none of us can help ourselves from screwing up sometime.

I am looking for the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip which has Cal standing under a tree wearing shades.

Hobbes came along and asked what’s he doing. Cal : looking cool. Hobbes : You looked more like youre bored. Cal : The world bores you when you’re cool’

    Thanks

My Mom never had to worry about me because I got bored being home sick. I couldn’t wait to get out of bed and get back to school and my friends. It was usually the doctor who would advise Mom I’d stay home another day or two. He’d usually say I could get out of bed but move to the couch so I could watch tv and take it from there. I guess it’s because I had the whooping cough alot when I was a kid, before they came up with a shot to prevent it. I thought I’d suffocate and die from it one day. I have a feeling since they came up with a shot for it that some children did die back then.

    C&H fans,

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So many forums on the web are full of profanity and negativism. Thank you all for being upbeat and positive all the time and celebratory of one of the simple things in life – a bratty-yet-lovable six year old and and his wise sidekick. (Or is it the other way around?)

I enjoy reading these posts as much as I enjoy Calvin because of the positivism. (Is that a word?) Keep it up.

I agree with Calvin86. And here´s something positive. Calvin’s gonna positively drive Susie Derkins bonkers when he goes back to school. He’s been charging up his battery for a few days!
