just a little more and calvin would of made the missing person list.

You think that Calvin will be responsible enough to be left alone once he’s eighteen? Think again.

She’s running a racket and has them over a barrel. She’s going places and Calvin is preparing her for a prosperous future.

Bad, very bad…

It’s a scam. Calvin went to bed early and when Ros failed to fall for his trick, he fell asleep immediately. She had a quiet night with a so-so TV movie.

charlie37133 says: tie the rascal up and put calvin in a trunk and make a game out of it. with lots of air holes. say he is going on a ocean voyage as a spy…. and pack some marshmallow & peanut butter sammiches! He’ll be good ‘til midnight.

Just hope that when he is 18 they get a cute babysitter lol

Calvin tossed the blanket on Ros who promptly tossed it off and foiled his escape attempt before he could make any moves–and then threatened to lock him in basement for the rest of the evening.

so all rosalyn has to do is put on a scowl and she gets more money .. what a racket

mom and dad are going to be broke before they know it.

She could be a better mom if she could control Calvin, but she’s outwitted from the get-go.

It will be along wait until Calvin is 18 - As far as I can tell - he’s stuck on 6 forever.

And, if you look in on Calvin and Hobbes, they’ll be sleeping like little angels.

What is the youngest age you can kick a kid out and not be responsible for his antics??

Too bad she’s the only babysitter who will put up with him.

Looks like the trick with Hobbes being sick failed. Calvins’s college fund is all going to end up in Roselin’s pocket.

Carmy, I think it was a rhetorical question. Hoping not to get an answer OR a dirty look.

Calvin’s parents expected whether if Calvin behaved good or not. But they were wrong. They paid Rosalyn money for being a grumpy babysitter!

May be his parents shd try taking him along! They d save a lot of money! :P

I just love the look on Rose’s face - the response from Dad is a clear indication this has happened before!

Will Hobbes still be around when Calvin is 18? To Chinton: Parents need some time away, and they don’t want to be banned from every restaurant in town.

dinosaur123 my late wife and i raised 5 kids and rarely had bad reports or scowls from a sitter we were married nearly 19 years when she passed away

So, how bad can Calvin be if she’s willing to return?

As I told about once before: My sitter charged extra per hour because I had 3 BOYS.

What could I do? You can’t give away a job that has no takers.

and they were sweet! Honest!

If my kids were ever bad for the sitter, I made them pay with their own money. They would hand over their crumpled dollars and quarters, crying… The sitters would feel bad and say, “It’s okay!” and I would snarl, “No it’s not!” and make them take the extra money. My boys each had to pay the sitter once, and my girls learned from them and didn’t ever pay… worked like a charm!
