Calvin is learning the lesson the French learned the hard way at the Maginot Line in 1940 - better to be mobile, Calvin, especially when fighting Hobbes!
Commanding Generals “Float to the top”. Thus they are always fighting the “last war”. I hope that this will change, because Diplomacy does NOT point in only one direction. The past does.
Hi everyone – new to gocomics forum. I thought Hobbes expression is more of “what? did I do something wrong??” look He was just following talking stuffed tiger rules!!

I love Hobbes!
Yes, he is quite a kick! He’s actually a pretty good good role model: mischivous, loyal,
smart, playful, honest, authentic and fun! I suspect that although we vicariously enjoy
the antics of Calvin, we relate to Hobbes much more.
BTW - Nice avatar. Do you play?
I learned long ago that snow forts don’t work in a good snowball fight. The key is to stay mobile, keep well stocked, and actually hit your target. What I lack in the third category I usually make up for in the second. And ambushes rule! Every man (or tiger?) for himself!
calvin should run forward at 2:00 using trees and cars for cover as he moves in an L-shape using suppressive snowball-throwing to keep hobbes pinned so he can run up and flank him from the rear.

Tiger, Tiger, lurking near Whaps young Calvin from the rear, Breaching the “invulnerable” fort. Now Calvin wants to sue in court.
Hobbes violates the rules of war, So Calvin protests in a roar. His main rule would seem to be, “The winner always must be me!”

Yesterday Hobbes was reading a story about Captain Napalm. Today Hobbes is practising the Captains’ strategy !! Clever tiger !!

silly calvin build a three side fort and get a smaller tiger all will be well or just build an igloo so u can’t be attacked from the top.

Aren’t snowball fights all about anarchy? And the goal is to push the other person into traffic. Wait, maybe that just the way I play…
