I am happy to say that this is called retirement and I am thrilled that I have reached that point in my life. Often, the only way that I can remember the current day is by checking my newspaper. Of course with the financial condition of the world nowadays I may find myself back to dreading Mondays.

I had no idea how to enlarge the comic strips. Thx for the tips, even more enjoyable this way.

Gweedo; I agree with cleokaya, I retired 18 months ago and can HIGHLY recommend it.

How is it that kids go from hating baths to spending half an hour in a steaming shower in just a few short years?

I am retired, too. I have all Saturdays now, and can only tell them apart when it’s Sunday, the Lord’s day!!!

My husband is STILL a grouch about Sunday evenings. I can’t ever get him to bed (even with marital motivation) early enough to get 8 hours of sleep, because he says the sooner he goes to bed, the sooner he has to go to work. (The 100% thingy is on my frame - not the webpage. I’ve got Vista, so maybe it depends on your OS.)

Weird that this site only allows 16 year olds and up. Kids enjoy comics too!

Yo! It did not work that way. I tried to press and held the control button and then, press the scroll on the mouse, but it did not work right. Sighhh! :-/

I enjoyed your comment Ray. I love the fall for the crisp, still evenings around a roaring patio fire. You can even see the night sky that time of year. It’s the five 1x@? months of winter I can’t stand. At least we have the internet now!

I think you’re right, Space-Cadet: it looks like the first three of the last four panels were inserted just as space fillers. Maybe one more reason Watterson got tired of the comic page drudgery.

I think hobbes expression in the 6th panel is cute.I’m 10,and I can relate to how Calvin’s felling.
