That Clifford is really something, isn’t he?
That devilish grin… those bedroom eyes….
and he still has most of his hair!
And now we see that he’s talented with kitchen appliances, too?
No wonder he’s Maggie’s dreamboat.
Maybe he’ll nuke us some popcorn, while we comment on Cleo.
You’re a lucky girl, Maggie.
Clifford can certainly warm up some oatmeal, and warm Maggie’s heart. He is drinking in her praise. Some men may try to distinguish themselves with prowess on the grill, or the oven, but Clifford has found the key to Maggie’s heart in the microwave.
What if Clara asked Claude if he wanted his sticky buns warmed in the microwave?
I’ve been away for a couple days, great to come back and read to toons I missed, AND the funny comments you guys made!
maybe with some cheesy scrambled eggs and smashed potatoes?
It all sounds horrible but tastes great!
I was thinking… uh oh….
If Clifford, above, were Claude’s brother, he’d be Clifford Clifford… eek.
Glad he’s not. I used to know a Roger Rogers… he hated it.
I also had a neighbor with a husband named Clifford, and their son was Clifford Jr…
I didn’t know that for a while, cos the 90-year-old dad was always called Roy… he liked to say “for short” …
and the 65-plus—year-old son was called Butch.
Butch told me one day, when he was visiting his parents, that he didn’t want to be called Clifford, cos that was his Dad’s name.
Uh huh.
People.
@nighthawks – I DON’T CARE!
Come on Cleo, get in the ktchen, you might get Claude’s share!!!
get out of that kitchen and rattle those pots and pans!
My answer to everything?
Third base!
My dad was a radar operator during WWII — I guess he handled himself well around the microwaves ‘cause I’m here!
