    People fall for so many kitchen gadgets when a cutting board and a chef’s knife can do most of your culinary tasks and leave you with a simple cleanup. Ever try to clean the residue out of all those little holes in a garlic press?

    Yes, every time I use it. In the reverse position it has pins that clear every hole. Although I agree that my chef’s knife and cutting board cover most of the tasks, garlic needs to be crushed, not just cut, to efficiently produce alicin, the desired nutrient.
