My thanks go out to everybody for all the birthday wishes. It was a nice steady ordinary day (my favourite kind) with a take-away meal. Not the one we ordered and half an hour late but it was interesting..@Number Six: everybody said it was your b’day, so I just went along with it.
Number 6 dont let it get to you. You are respected, liked and appreciated here and everywhere you go at goat comix…please hang with us…without you, bev, ling, pcolli, affi/tony and number 3, chalkie, and our ghost gweedo, it would sure take the shine off of andy capp…
For me anyway, using FAQ #5 has helped fix any problem I was having with e-mails. Once I had to Delete my entire My Comic Page, and Delete/Save Changes/Add/Save Changes a single strip I wasn’t receiving a few other times; but all-in-all, it’s been fairly dependable.I don’t remember any tiny strips being sent; maybe it was just a one time thing that I’ve forgotten. A couple summers ago, there were problems with some pointers to the strips being bad in the some e-mails; but that’s pretty much been fixed — I would suggest trying it again.Regarding 9 days ago, the image, that no longer shows, appears to be a GoComics avatar (did you temporarily change yours to that ?); something about “Sugar and Spike”(?) from the name. I don’t know what GoComics does when an avatar is replaced; maybe they just discard it after a few days. You see the question-mark-in-a-box when it can’t find what you’re trying to display.By the way, I clicked the first Gertie (from about a month ago). That is one of my all time favorite duets (why I bought her Bella Donna LP, too long ago to remember). Their voices are great together. I have hearing issues, but I could still hear that song perfectly (maybe was just remembering how it used to sound to me). Thank you!!!
Number Six I hope you see this. I now understand all that has happened! I AM SO SO SORRY! How ironic that your father was born on that now infamous date of September 11, and my father at the age of 96, still in good health, living in my late mom and his home until he fell, passed away that day. For all the tragedies of that day in 2001, my first thoughts on September 11 will be of my dad. My condolences, Steve. Truly!

…Inner Peace…………………
If you can start the day without caffeine,
If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,
If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,
If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it,
If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time,
If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,
If you can conquer tension without medical help,
If you can relax without alcohol,
If you can sleep without the aid of drugs…..
Then You Are ProbablyThe Family Dog!
