    doctortoon, I too have had to be careful. I was at a camground doing my laundry, with playground equipment nearby. A young girl, swinging from an overhead bar slipped and was hanging precariously, calling for her mom, whom was in their campsight quite a ways away. I had to mentally weigh the consequences of helping versus avoiding the calls for help. I chose to help and as her mother is running towards us I shouted out, that she was okey, she just slipped off the monkey bars. Her mother was relieved, but my wife was concerned, because of our situation of man and young girl. It’s tough, with today’s environment, but I think I would always choose to help, and hope for a positive outcome. In my case, the little girl thanked me profusely.
